In an interview with ESPN, Stewart expressed his enthusiasm for the future, stating that the past three and a half years have been "great" and that he has thoroughly enjoyed his time at PSV. He highlighted the club's success, saying that they have been "successful a number of times, which always helps." Stewart has signed a new contract with PSV, which will keep him at the club until mid-2030.
Stewart emphasized the importance of the club's current foundation, but also acknowledged that there is still much work to be done. He stated that PSV is "still building" both on and off the pitch, and that he is pleased to be a part of the club's growth. Under Stewart's leadership, PSV has achieved several notable successes, including three league titles, one KNVB Beker, and two Johan Cruijff Schaal trophies. His previous contract was set to expire this summer.
