PSV and NEC have agreed on the transfer of Sami Ouaissa, with the Eindhoven-based club set to sign the right-back for a reported €9 million. This is the fifth major signing for PSV this summer, following the arrivals of Sven Mijnans, Kodai Sano, Lutsharel Geertruida, and Filip Kostic. Ouaissa will compete with players such as Ruben van Bommel, Ivan Perisic, Dennis Man, and Esmir Bajraktarevic for a place on the flank.
Voetbal International reported earlier that PSV and NEC were in advanced negotiations over the transfer. The clubs reached an agreement on Sunday morning, with NEC making its next big transfer. This summer, NEC has already seen Kodai Sano and Basar Önal leave for PSV and Lille respectively, both for significant fees.
