This impressive feat is a testament to Aubameyang's experience and skill, and has even surpassed that of Depor icon Roy Makaay, who scored three goals in his first competitive match for the club in 2009. Aubameyang's goal-scoring streak has also earned him a place in the record books, making him the oldest player to score in their first four competitive games for a new club, surpassing Fernando Morientes' achievement in 2006. Aubameyang was the provider for Zakaria Eddahchouri's equaliser in the 2-2 draw against Villarreal, before scoring the winning goal.
