Noa Lang, the Dutch winger, was on the bench for 90 minutes in Napoli's 3-2 loss against Inter on Saturday. However, he has been left out of the squad for the upcoming match against Arsenal. According to Romano, Lang's absence is due to disciplinary reasons. Sporting director Giovanni Manna has confirmed that Lang was involved in a disciplinary incident on Tuesday, which led to coach Massimiliano Allegri taking action. As a result, Lang will watch the match against Arsenal from the stands. Manna has stated that Lang has apologized for his behaviour and the matter is now closed.

Lang's absence from the squad is not entirely unexpected, given his history with former Napoli coach Antonio Conte. The two had a strained relationship, with Lang claiming that he was not treated well by Conte last season. Lang did, however, return to Napoli in the summer after a loan spell with Galatasaray. Napoli will play against Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday.
