The Brabantse Keuken Kampioen Divisie-club has appointed Rick Kruys as the new coach, replacing Hoefkens. However, this change has led to further adjustments in the technical staff, resulting in Güvenç's exit. The 42-year-old was Hoefkens' trusted assistant at the Rat Verlegh Stadion, joining the club two years ago.
NAC Breda's decision to part ways with Güvenç was announced by the club's technical director, Peter Maes. "We thank Serdal for his great commitment during his NAC period and wish him all the best for his future career," Maes stated on the club's website.
Kruys' debut as the new coach was not a successful one, as NAC Breda lost 3-2 to Jong FC Utrecht in their last match. The team currently sits in 12th place in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie with seven points after six rounds.
