Celtic's veteran manager Martin O'Neill was perplexed in Perth after his much-changed side struggled to find their rhythm against St Johnstone. The team made it six wins out of six in the Scottish Premiership, but their performance was laboured. O'Neill was left disappointed with the performance of striker Kasper Hogh, who touched the ball just twice in the box before the break. The Celtic manager hinted that the Dane needs to do more to make an impact in the penalty box, saying that "you just can't put the ball on a plate for people". Hogh's struggles were compounded by the poor delivery from the wings, with winger Haissem Hassan's final ball not much better.
O'Neill's uncertainty about his team's performance is likely to be a concern ahead of their upcoming triple-header against Rangers, Ferencvaros, and St Johnstone.
