The story was shared by Kraay Jr. during an interview on VoetbalPrimeur's Willem & Wessel show. He explained that he had applied for the groundsman job after the previous one had passed away. Kraay Jr. then went on to say that he had been tasked with polishing the shoes and cleaning the locker rooms.
