Jair Cunha represented Brazil's under-20 team at the South American Championship in 2025 and made his professional debut in 2023. He was transferred from Santos to Botafogo in 2025 and four months later was sold to Nottingham Forest for 12 million euros. Brazil will face Australia twice, on 25 and 29 September, and India on 3 October. Along with Jair, this week's call-up includes seven other new players.
