The club's decision was made in light of the high fan movement for the confrontation, with the Batalhão Especializado de Policiamento em Estádios (BEPE) normally not allowing the sale of tickets in the lower section of the stadium for visiting teams. However, for the first leg of the semifinal, the section will be available for commercialization.

To meet the club's request, the BEPE required Fluminense to take responsibility for implementing certain security measures for both sets of fans present at the Maracanã. The visiting section will be isolated with metal plates, tarps, and protective screens, similar to the setup at Palmeiras' Nubank Parque stadium.

The first leg of the semifinal will take place on October 14 at 21:30, with the second leg scheduled for October 21 at the same time at Palmeiras' Nubank Parque stadium.
