Infantino has come under fire for his proposal to create Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE), a company to run the commercial and operational aspects of Fifa's tournaments, with an idea to sell off around 20% to private investors. Uefa, AFC, and Concacaf have signed an open letter urging Fifa to hold an independent review into Infantino's scheme. The letter, which does not name Infantino directly, accuses him of "deception" and states that leadership in football is a duty of service to the football family, not a possession.
