Jerayno Schaken, the son of former Feyenoord player Ruben Schaken, made his debut in Feyenoord's starting lineup against NEC. He replaced Gaoussou Diarra after an hour, and then scored a goal five minutes into his appearance. Schaken capitalised on a cross from the right flank and scored with his left foot. This achievement has earned Schaken a place in the record books, with Voetbal International confirming that he is now the youngest player to score a goal on his Eredivisie debut, at the age of 17 years and 79 days.
