Van Bronckhorst has opted for a more defensive approach, with Tjark Ernst set to start in goal. Ernst has kept a clean sheet in his last three Eredivisie appearances, which has led Van Bronckhorst to choose him over other goalkeepers. Givairo Read is expected to start at right-back, replacing Jerimiah St. Juste, who has been swapped out due to lichte klachten (light complaints). Tsuyoshi Watanabe will take St. Juste's place, while Mika Marmol and Javi Lopez are likely to start as well.
On the midfield, Van Bronckhorst has made a change, with Sem Steijn set to replace Oussama Targhalline. Steijn will be joined by Gjivai Zechiël and Charles Vanhoutte, who are expected to start alongside him.
