Feyenoord's technical director Dévy Rigaux has confirmed that Anis Hadj Moussa will not be allowed to leave the club, despite interest from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad. Al-Ittihad had been in contact with Feyenoord just before the transfer deadline, reportedly willing to pay around 25 million euros for the Algerian winger. However, Rigaux stated that Hadj Moussa will remain at Feyenoord as the club was unable to find a suitable replacement in time. This decision was reportedly made in accordance with an agreement between Rigaux and Hadj Moussa's entourage, which stipulated that the player could only leave if Feyenoord could find a suitable replacement before the transfer deadline. Feyenoord had a financially difficult situation, where money had to be saved.
