Thomas van den Belt was the standout performer for FC Twente, scoring two goals and gaining self-confidence in the process. His goals were crucial in securing the win for the team. Van den Belt's performance was a welcome boost, as he has often been criticized in the past.
Daan Rots also impressed with his dribbling skills and threat from the right flank, leaving a good impression on the Gibraltar pitch. His shots were sometimes unlucky, but he showed promise for the future.
FC Twente dominated the game, creating the most chances and controlling possession. However, the team was unable to capitalize on their advantage and secure a more convincing win.
