FC Twente has loaned out Guilherme Peixoto to Roda JC Kerkrade for the upcoming season. The 20-year-old Portuguese right-back will play on a loan basis for the club in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. This move comes after FC Twente signed Michal Rosiak as a new right-back, leaving little room for Bart van Rooij, who remains a player for the club.
Peixoto joined FC Twente last season and played five official matches. He previously played in the youth team of Benfica and represented Portugal in various youth national teams. Roda JC's technical manager, Rob Servais, believes Peixoto will fit in well with the team's playing style.
Peixoto will now play for Roda JC Kerkrade on loan, where he will have the opportunity to gain more playing time.
