Niko Kovač's side have been boosted by the form of Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva, who have developed a strong relationship on and off the pitch. Guirassy has four goals and two assists in five games across all competitions, with both of his assists this term going to Silva.

The pair's understanding has been key to Dortmund's success, with Guirassy stating that they push each other to improve and let the team reap the rewards. Silva has already matched last season's tally of 28 matches, having recorded two Bundesliga goals already.

Their next test comes in the form of Stuttgart, who are looking to rediscover their form after a slow start. Deniz Undav, who finished as Germany's top scorer at the FIFA World Cup 2026, hasn't scored for the Swabians since May, but head coach Sebastian Hoeneß is backing him to rediscover his form.

However, Stuttgart have added competition to their attack with the arrival of Dženan Pejčinović from Wolfsburg, who has already caught the attention of Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp.
