According to Globo Esporte Futebol, Derik Lacerda started on the bench but entered the game after just six minutes due to an injury to Romanić. He then scored the opening goal four minutes later, receiving a pass from Yasuto Wakizaka after the opponent's defence failed to clear a ball.
The 26-year-old Brazilian continued to be influential in the first half, providing an assist for Marcinho's third goal at the 42nd minute and setting up Wakizaka for the final goal in the 45th minute. All six goals in the match were scored in the first half.
Derik Lacerda has been playing for Kawasaki Frontale since the end of July, when he was transferred from Cuiabá for a reported US$1.3 million. The Brazilian forward has previously played for several clubs, including Resende, Académica, and Moreirense in Portugal, Ponferradina in Spain, Sport in Brazil, and Baltika Kaliningrad in Russia.
