Cruzeiro FC has secured the services of Matías Viña, a left-back from Flamengo, on a loan deal until the end of 2026. The option to buy Viña is worth approximately R$ 23 million.
Viña was previously on loan at River Plate in Argentina, but he has now returned to Brazil to join Cruzeiro FC. The 28-year-old left-back will compete for a spot in the team with Villalba and Gabriel Rojas.
Cruzeiro FC will not pay any additional compensation to Flamengo at this time. The club is now working to finalize the agreement before the transfer window closes on Friday.
