The offer, worth 200,000 euros, would have seen Gui Negão play for Le Mans until May 31, 2027. The deal included a buyout clause of 6.2 million euros, which would have become obligatory if the player started in 60% of Le Mans' games this season. The French club would have also paid Gui Negão's full salary during the loan period.
Gui Negão had been struggling for playing time at Corinthians, starting in just 17 games this season and scoring only one goal. He had lost his place in the reserve team to Pedro Raul and was seen as the last option in the squad. However, after scoring the only goal in Corinthians' 2-1 loss to Flamengo, Gui Negão has been given a chance to prove himself, with coach Fernando Diniz expressing confidence in the young forward.
