Rodrigo Koxa, a 46-year-old surfer from Guarujá, will officially join Corinthians' Extreme Sports team. The athlete was presented at an event at the Corinthians Memorial in São Paulo, where he launched the "Corinthianos do Mar" partnership with the club, held an autograph session, and showcased the short film "Déjà Vu".

Koxa is awaiting the official confirmation of a 29.15-meter wave he surfed in Portugal, which could earn him a new world record on September 19. The surfer has been a Corinthians fan since childhood and sees the partnership as a union of his two passions: big wave surfing and the club.

Koxa's arrival at Corinthians comes as he awaits the confirmation of a possible new world record. He surfed a 29.15-meter wave in Portugal in December 2025, which could see him reclaim the world record from Sebastian Steudtner, who currently holds the record with a 26.21-meter wave.
