Yuri Alberto's return to the pitch has been pushed back due to a setback in his recovery from a thigh injury. The 22-year-old had initially been expected to return to training in late August, but a partial rupture of the fibrosis in the scar tissue has delayed his progress.

Globo Esporte Futebol reports that Yuri Alberto has been working on his physical transition, but has regressed in his treatment and has not returned to training with the rest of the team. He did participate in some individual work on the field last Monday, accompanied by the physiotherapy team.

The Corinthians medical staff are taking a cautious approach, aiming for Yuri Alberto to be 100% fit before he returns to the pitch. This means he will not be available for the team's next match against Fluminense on Sunday, and will likely be reintegrated into the squad after the Data Fifa break.
