The Seagulls have paid 22 million euros for the 21-year-old Spanish midfielder, with Real Madrid set to receive half of that amount. This deal comes after Stuttgart acquired Andrés from Real Madrid last year for a reported 3 million euros. Brighton has now taken advantage of this clause, signing Andrés after a strong debut season in the Bundesliga. The midfielder will join a team that has already spent over 140 million euros on new players this summer, including other Dutch players such as Bart Verbruggen, Mats Wieffer, and Pascal Struijk.
