Bobby Kamwa, a striker for Bristol Rovers, was given a yellow card on Saturday after scoring a goal against Newport County. The 26-year-old Cameroonian left Newport County this summer after failing to agree a new contract with the club. He joined Bristol Rovers and played against his former team on Saturday.

The supporters in the away stand were quick to express their displeasure at every contact with Kamwa. When Kamwa scored the 4-2 goal for Bristol Rovers with a quarter of an hour left to play, he decided to celebrate by sprinting from one end of the pitch to the other, waving to the fans who had travelled from Newport. The reaction from the away supporters was predictable.

Kamwa's celebration was eerily similar to Adebayor's infamous celebration in 2009, when he scored for Manchester City against Arsenal. Adebayor was given two yellow cards and a fine for his actions, which were deemed provocative. Kamwa's actions were not as severe, but he still received a yellow card and was substituted. Bristol Rovers went on to win the match 5-3.
