He believes that teams are well-organized and receive one-on-one football everywhere on the field, requiring a good individual action or a passing opportunity with running variants to escape the pressure. Berghuis also noted that the goalkeeper has the ball and everyone is standing with a man in modern football, making it difficult for teams to break through.
Ajax will look to build on their win against AZ, with Berghuis set to continue his recovery and regain his fitness.
