Ali Ahamada, a 35-year-old former Ligue 1 goalkeeper, has joined Aubagne in Ligue 3. The experienced player has also held other roles in football. He previously played for Toulouse, where he scored a historic goal in Ligue 1. L'Équipe Football reports that Ahamada has been training with Aubagne for the past season.
In addition to his playing role, Ahamada remains the U20 goalkeepers trainer of the Comores selection. He has also negotiated to create a goalkeepers academy with Aubagne, in collaboration with his new club. Aubagne currently sits 16th in the league, with 4 points from 5 games.
