The team has begun preparations for their three friendly matches in this FIFA window, with their final match scheduled for 6 October. Several new players have joined the squad from Europe, including Emiliano Martínez, Julián Álvarez, Lautaro Martínez, Cristian Romero, Lisandro Martínez, and Juan Musso. They started training on 22 September in Ezeiza.
Tobías Andrada from River Plate, Leonel Flores from Boca Juniors, Valentín Gómez from Real Betis, and Román Vega from Zenit Saint Petersburg have also joined the team.
