Álex Pozo, a Spanish international with over 100 La Liga appearances, has joined ADO Den Haag on a two-year deal. The 30-year-old midfielder has played for Sevilla's youth team and was later sold to Almería in 2022, where he played 30 games but struggled to make an impact after the team's promotion. Pozo has also represented Spain at the U21 level and has European experience.
According to ADO's technical director Mark Wotte, Pozo was a sought-after player who chose to join the Eredivisie club. "He can cover the entire right flank and has more than 100 games at the highest level in Spain under his belt," Wotte said. "Álex was considered a big talent in his home country, played for Spain U21 and even made an appearance for the national team."
