The Eredivisie's bottom club has welcomed Álex Pozo (27), who was without a club after leaving La Liga 2-club Almería. Pozo, a one-time Spanish international, has a wealth of experience, having played over 100 games at the highest level in Spain. He also has a reputation as a talented player, having represented Spain U21 and even earned an international cap.
Technisch directeur Mark Wotte is pleased with his new attacker, saying: 'With Álex, we're adding a versatile and experienced player to our squad. He can cover the entire right flank and has more than 100 games at the highest level in Spain under his belt. Álex was also known as a great talent in his home country, having played for Spain U21 and even earning an international cap.'
