Africa FC - Washington Spirit's African contingent continues to thrive
The Washington Spirit have signed Melissa Bethi from French side Montpellier, with the 21-year-old Algeria midfielder making an instant impact in her first NWSL start. ESPN reports that Bethi scored the winner on 80 minutes as Washington came from behind to beat Portland Thorns 2-1.
