Touré made his debut against PSG in the Champions League Liga phase, marking a historic moment for the African DT. "At a personal level, it's something really wonderful. It's an important new era. We can say that things are changing now and moving forward," Touré said ahead of his Slovan Bratislava's debut in the Liga phase.
Touré's journey to becoming a DT began after his retirement from playing in 2020. He started as an assistant coach in various teams, including Olimpik Donetsk, Akhmat Grozny, and Standard Lieja. His first job as a head coach was at Slovan Bratislava, following the departure of Vladimír Weiss.
