Bart Verbruggen will keep his place as goalkeeper, while Denzel Dumfries and Micky van de Ven will form the right and left back positions in the four-man defense. This means that Jan Paul van Hecke will not start in the central defense, a position he struggled with in the match against Serbia. Xavi has given Jurriën Timber a chance to play alongside captain Virgil van Dijk.

The midfield will remain unchanged, with Joey Veerman starting once again and Ryan Gravenberch and Tijjani Reijnders also earning a spot in the lineup. The attack will be led by Crysencio Summerville and Mexx Meerdink, who impressed in their last match against Serbia, scoring twice in Belgrade. Ruben van Bommel will also start as left back, replacing Cody Gakpo who has left the training camp due to injury.

The match against Greece will kick off at 20:45 and will be broadcast live on NPO3.
