Xavi Hernández has assembled a team of experienced coaches, including Sergio Alegre, Óscar Hernández, and Ruud van Nistelrooij, who will serve as his assistants. Adil Ramzi has been appointed as the performance coach, while Patrick Lodewijks will remain as the keeperstrainer. Iván Torres will also join the staff as the performance coach. Van Nistelrooij and Lodewijks were already part of the technical staff under Ronald Koeman during the last World Cup and will continue their work under Xavi.
Xavi has worked with Sergio, Óscar, and Iván in his previous roles at Al-Sadd and Barcelona, and Adil Ramzi previously worked as the coach of Oranje Onder-19. The new technical staff will be officially presented on the KNVB Campus in Zeist on the coming Tuesday.
