The club has used the R$ 40 million for various purposes, including paying the payroll, taxes, and obligations related to the judicial recovery, including payments to labor creditors. Part of the resources was also used to settle collective payment plans in the CBF's National Dispute Resolution Chamber. Additionally, the Vasco used the money for expenses related to the football operation, including the hiring of athletes, bonuses, and contractual gloves.
Globo Esporte Futebol reports that the Vasco has presented the proof of destination of the remaining resources from the first DIP and informed that the documentation was sent to the Judicial Administration, the watchdog, and the gatekeeper responsible for following the process. The club now needs a new loan of up to R$ 150 million to pay the entries of the transfers of the athletes they want to hire. If they do not succeed, the board will have to explore a market that was not being very looked at until now: free players in the market and opportunities for loan.
