De Zerbi believes that Sávio's biggest step and biggest improvement is to increase the number of goals he scores, as he thinks the 22-year-old winger has the qualities to be one of the best in the league. The Italian manager has told Sávio that he needs to score 10 or 12 goals this season, as the team requires more goals from their wingers.

Sávio made a promising debut for Tottenham in the Carabao Cup, scoring two goals in a 5-1 thrashing of Charlton. The Brazilian winger was introduced in the 71st minute and got off the mark for his new club with a fizzing low effort into the bottom corner before a side-footed shot three minutes later was deflected in by Ben Davies to round off Tottenham's scoring.

De Zerbi's comments suggest that Sávio will be expected to make a significant contribution to Tottenham's goal-scoring efforts this season, and the Brazilian winger will be looking to build on his promising debut performance.
