Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Manchester City over the potential transfer of Savinho and Marmoush. The discussions are progressing favourably. Savinho was absent from Manchester City's Community Shield match against Arsenal, while Marmoush was brought on at half-time by manager Enzo Maresca.

Tottenham were previously close to signing Savinho last year for a reported fee, but the deal fell through. The Brazilian forward subsequently signed a new contract with Manchester City until 2031. Tottenham have already spent £270 million on new players this transfer window.

The club's attack reinforcement efforts also involve Cody Gakpo, who has reportedly agreed terms with Tottenham. Liverpool received an initial bid from Tottenham for Gakpo.
