Jukić joins Go Ahead Eagles from NK Lokomotiva in Croatia, where he has been playing at the highest level. Born in Germany, the defender spent a significant part of his youth there before moving to Croatia for further education. He also had a stint in Slovenia for half a year before joining Lokomotiva.
In Deventer, Jukić will be expected to showcase his defensive skills. He describes himself as a defender who likes to be involved in the game and contribute from the back. Jukić also claims to be strong in the air. "I'm a player who always wants to win, no matter what," he said. "I show emotion on the pitch and fight for victory."
Go Ahead Eagles' technical manager Marc van Hintum is also pleased with the signing. "With Tino, we're adding a crucial central defender to our squad," he said. "He has a good presence, possesses a winners' mentality, and is a player who stands up for himself on the pitch."
