The report, which was released on Tuesday, found that Santos, Corinthians, Flamengo, Palmeiras, and Paysandu were the five clubs that saw the most growth in their social media following. Together, they added 934,000 new followers, accounting for 64% of the 1.5 million new followers among the 50 clubs monitored in the ranking.

Globo Esporte Futebol reports that 60% of the growth in followers for Flamengo, Corinthians, Santos, and Palmeiras came from TikTok, highlighting the importance of the platform for the expansion of digital bases of Brazilian clubs.

Flamengo was the standout performer, adding 173,000 new followers and becoming the first football club to surpass 68 million followers across its digital platforms. The club's Instagram following alone increased by 25 million.
