According to VoetbalPrimeur, Janssen described PSV's defending as "dramatisch" and "amateuristisch". He specifically pointed out the second goal conceded, saying that the Eindhoven team's approach was flawed. Janssen stated that PSV's player positions were incorrect, allowing Club Brugge's Forbs to receive the ball with too much space.
Janssen also praised PSV's overall performance, saying they dominated possession and created many chances. However, he felt that their poor defending in key moments cost them the game. VoetbalPrimeur reports that Janssen believes PSV's coach, Peter Bosz, will be critical of the team's defending, but will not single out any individual players for blame.
