Ipswich have agreed a deal with Aston Villa to sign Tammy Abraham on loan, talkSPORT understands. It's now up to the striker to decide whether he wants to make the move to Ipswich. Abraham made three appearances in Aston Villa's Europa League triumph last term, becoming just the second player to win all three current major UEFA club trophies. He re-joined Villa in January having previously helped fire them to promotion from the Championship while on loan from Chelsea.

However, Premier League minutes were few and far between last season for the 28-year-old, who made only two starts in the competition and averaged just over 23 minutes per appearance. This was largely due to the form of Ollie Watkins – who is poised to leave Villa for Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal. Villa are severely short of options at centre-forward, having already sold Donyell Malen this summer and with 17-year-old wonderkid Brian Madjo currently out injured.
