"We've had a tough start," Plat explained. "There are reasons for that. We've brought in a lot of young players in the last week of pre-season or even during the season, and many of them are still not fit." The team has been focusing on survival ahead of the interland period, allowing them to now work on getting the players fit for the restart.
Plat highlighted the challenges of having many young players who are still adjusting to the higher level, as well as dealing with players who are not yet fully fit. "We've got a lot of young players who are still getting used to the higher level, and we've got a lot of players who are not yet fully fit," he said. "So, in that sense, I'm moderately satisfied, as long as we can quickly take the next steps."
