The decision was made by judge Fábio Coimbra Junqueira, of the 6th Civil Court of São Paulo, on the last Monday. The club was found to have failed to pay seven monthly installments of R$ 100,000, totaling R$ 700,000, as well as ten installments of 25,000 euros as per the contract. The São Paulo will have to pay the costs and fees on top of the R$ 2,056,752.50. The club has stated that it will appeal the decision.
