Olé reports that a judge later ruled in Piatti's favor, ordering San Lorenzo to pay a total of $4,369,889.11. Piatti still had $2.7 million outstanding, plus $786,500 in legal fees, as the club had already paid around $950,000 during the conflict.
San Lorenzo has confirmed that a meeting between the club's lawyers and those of Ignacio Piatti did not result in an agreement, according to an official statement. The next meeting is scheduled for September 24. If no agreement is reached, the social headquarters of Avenida La Plata is at risk of being sold.
