Samuele Ricci is set to join Como on an initial season-long loan deal with an option to buy, with the Italian midfielder's salary to be paid in full by the Serie B side. Ricci had joined Milan from Torino in a deal reported to be worth €23m plus add-ons during the previous summer transfer window in 2025. The 25-year-old was an ever-present in the Milan matchday squad last season, appearing in the squad for all 38 Serie A matches, but was limited to just 11 appearances in the starting XI due to stiff competition from the likes of Luka Modric, Adrien Rabiot, Youssouf Fofana and Ardon Jashari.
The exact transfer fee has not been disclosed, although esports from Matteo Moretto indicate that the clubs are discussing a total package in the region of €22m between the cost of the loan deal and the option to buy. Ricci is set to join Cesc Fabregas's side on an initial season-long loan deal with an option to buy, with Como expected to pay the player's salary in full for the duration of his loan spell.
