The claim is aimed at recovering the proportionate part of the season ticket fee for the home games played by Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio de Butarque in Leganés. The judicial procedure will be handled by lawyer Javier Flores, who will represent the fans who wish to claim economic compensation for the damage caused by the closure of the Estadio de Vallecas. According to the Plataforma ADRV, Rayo Vallecano opened its 2026-2027 season ticket campaign on July 24, while still having to resolve a requirement from the Community of Madrid related to the safety and maintenance of the Estadio de Vallecas. Four days later, on July 28, the Community agreed to suspend the Estadio de Vallecas concession and subsequently opened a procedure for the definitive extinction of the concession, forcing Rayo Vallecano to play its home games in another location. The chosen location was Butarque, where the team played three home games against Alavés, Real Racing Club de Santander, and Espanyol.
