Bosz stated that PSV's inability to finish chances and their poor organisation in defending against Forbs were the main reasons for their loss. He also mentioned that he considered using Mauro Júnior or Sergiño Dest as left-backs to counter Forbs, but ultimately decided against it. "If we do that, we'll have to shift players on the right or take Mauro out of midfield, and that would disrupt the balance of the team," Bosz explained.
Sven Mijnans, a PSV player, echoed Bosz's sentiments, saying that PSV need to create more chances and that their performance in this regard was encouraging. However, he also acknowledged that PSV were vulnerable to counters and that the game could have gone either way.
