The 23-year-old centre-back has a contract with Palmeiras until the end of 2027 and is focused on the club's objectives for the year. She believes staying in Brazil will increase her chances of playing in the Brazilian national team for the 2027 World Cup. Maldaner has already represented the Brazilian U-20 team in the 2022 World Cup and won the South American Under-20 Championship.
Palmeiras used the values from the sale of Amanda Gutierres to Boston Legacy for R$ 5,900,000 to build a Centre of Excellence for the women's football department. The club is currently in third place in the first phase of the Brasileiro Feminino and is already qualified for the quarterfinals.
