Nottingham Forest are in talks over the €15m (£12.8m) signing of the Celta Vigo right-back Javi Rueda. The 24-year-old former Real Madrid academy player and former Spain youth international has been in talks with the Premier League club. Rueda made his first-team breakthrough last season, playing 26 La Liga games and 11 in the Europa League, helping his side to reach the quarter-finals. He joined Celta three years ago from Madrid. The deal, reportedly worth €15m, would see Celta Vigo receive half the fee. This would likely be Nottingham Forest's final incoming of the window, following the agreement to sign Liam Delap from Chelsea for £50m.
