The match was stopped just before time after burning torches were thrown onto the field for the second time. The KNVB has also imposed a fine of €10,000 on NAC due to the misconduct of their fans. NAC director Remco Oversier stated that 20,000 supporters turned their backs on the small group of troublemakers.
