Millwall's victory was sealed with six minutes remaining when a slick counterattack ended with Luke Cundle sliding in Millwall's third. Tairyk Arconte scored his first two goals for Millwall as they breezed past 10-man Norwich 3-0 to make it two wins from two this season. Arconte's first goal came in the 18th minute when Mark Sykes's ball found Josh Coburn, whose shot was pushed out by Vladan Kovacevic for Arconte to tap in the rebound on his home debut.
Arconte's second goal came in the 58th minute when Zak Sturge's ball into the box was headed back by Jake Cooper for Arconte to steer a volley into the bottom corner. Norwich's afternoon went from bad to worse in the 64th minute when José Córdoba was sent off for a second yellow card after bundling over Arconte as he charged towards the area. The result leaves Norwich with two losses from two games this season, having been tipped to challenge for the playoffs.
