The club will open its ticket sales to regular spectators on Monday. Authorities are concerned about potential clashes between ultra groups during the match, citing a history of such incidents. A quarter-final match against Besiktas in 2017 saw supporters throwing projectiles at each other. In 2024, a group stage match between Lyon and Besiktas was classified as high risk, with strict security measures in place. The club will remind its loyal fans that ticket resale is prohibited and that they will be held responsible if a spectator with a ticket they purchased commits an offence or engages in unacceptable behaviour. The club will also track tickets electronically to prevent resale.
